Sustainable Cultivation Starts Here
At Myco-Mutiny, we turn waste into growth.
In partnership with 80 Stones Coffee Roasters, we transform used coffee sacks and chaff into high-performance grow bags—designed for easy, rewarding mushroom cultivation at home.
This is circular thinking in action: coffee waste becomes fertile ground for gourmet fungi.
Crafted from Reclaimed Materials
Each grow bag begins its life as a hessian coffee sack—once used to transport beans around the world. We recover, cut, and stitch each one by hand, reshaping them into breathable, durable covers that support mushroom growth from incubation to harvest.
Finished with a hand-painted Myco-Mutiny stencil, our bags are a statement against mass production. No plastics. No shortcuts. Just repurposed materials and thoughtful design.
Home-Grown Versatility
Our grow kits offer more than sustainability—they bring a diverse, gourmet experience into your kitchen.
Choose from a curated selection of mushrooms, each with their own unique texture and flavour:
Black Pearl & King Oyster – Meaty, satisfying, perfect for pan-frying or grilling.
Lion’s Mane – Delicate, brain-like, and prized for its seafood-like flavour.
Pink, Yellow & Blue-Grey Oysters – Vibrant, tender, and ideal for quick sautés
All are grown using upcycled coffee waste as substrate—because good food starts with good values.
Hands-On. Low Waste. High Impact.
Whether you're a first-time grower or a fungi fanatic, our kits make it easy to cultivate your own mushrooms. The hessian cover naturally regulates moisture and airflow, while the substrate inside provides rich nutrients—no green thumb required.
It’s a simple way to reconnect with real food and experience the joy of growing from waste to harvest.
