Block Buddy

Practise on a pixel kit before you grow a real one. Keep it healthy for three flushes and harvest as many grams as you can. Each game day lasts about 20 seconds at 3×. Use 8× or Next day to skip ahead.

Pick your kit

Real grow notes

Mist
Mist the cut area about twice a day, 4–5 sprays. Mist the air and the kit, not the mushrooms, and keep the caps dry.
Fan
Mushrooms need fresh air to form properly.
Check
Look at the kit and read the meters first. The numbers on screen are game numbers.
Chat
Just for fun. It does not change how the kit grows.
Where
Steady temperature and gentle indirect light. Keep clear of windows and radiators.
Open the kit
Clean your knife, cut a neat X in the plastic, and don't touch inside the cut.
Bag it
Only when contamination shows: green, black or pink patches (a lion's mane's soft pink blush is normal). Don't open, shake or sniff it. Double-bag it and use the household bin, not the compost.
Next flush
The second flush works like the first. Keep misting, or cold shock the block with an overnight soak.
Harvest
Pick when the caps are just flattening, before the edges turn up. Twist the cluster off at the base, or cut it with a clean knife.
